This project brings together faculty from a number of departments at the Pennsylvania State University and several scientists from NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in an effort to increase our understanding of the global hydrologic cycle and how it will be affected by climate change. A key element of this research is the integration of results from atmospheric circulation and climate modeling, surface hydrology modeling, soil-vegetation-atmosphere transfer modeling, land surface characteristics data analysis, and environmental remote sensing, at global, meso, and local scales.
