Principal Types of Data in the PSU ESSC Database
The keywords listed below define the main categories of data currently
in the database. Some categories have subcategories; for example, DEM
directories may contain subdirectories at different resolutions.
The list of available data types for a given geographic region which is
returned by a database search normally gives the full name for each data
type rather than the keyword. The names of the actual datasets and of
data subcategories, on the other hand, normally incorporate only the
keyword.
