put_lt_date - Writes date field into a labeled table (LT)

FUNCTION put_lt_date (vec,date)

     struct VECTOR      *vec;
     struct LT_DATE     *date;

PARAMETERS

Pointer to a structure defining a field within an LT logical record. Note that vec the linked list defining the LT record.

The date to be written to the LT.

The put_lt_date() routine writes the date field into the labeled table. The structure is defined to be:

     struct LT_DATE
       {
       long month;
       long day;
       long year;
       }

The date is stored as an ASCII string within the labeled table I/O buffer with the following format:

     mm/dd/yyyy

Error checking is not done to ensure the date is valid.

put_lt_date() has no return values.

The put_lt_date() call is for C only.
