Documentation for PA physiographic provinces

This dataset contains boundaries of physiographic provinces and the border of the Late Wisconsian glaciation for the state of Pennsylvania, compiled by the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Bureau of Topographic and Geologic Survey.

The Arc/Info vector coverages are provided at two resolutions, corresponding to map scales of 1:100000 and 1:500000. For reference, PA county boundaries are also provided. The metadata have also been incorporated into the UNIX-based Arc/Info dataset and can be accessed using the DOCUMENT command in UNIX-based Arc/Info 7.0.4 once the dataset has been imported.
