500 meter DEM for US and Southern Canada, Albers projection

Data set reference code -- 1998-0118

Corrected Data, 29 July 1998

The version of the 500-meter DEM created in April, 1998 was offset by several km from its correct position as a result of an error in the program used to resample the land cover data from the Lambert Azimuthal projection, in which the data were distributed by EDC, into the Albers projection. The Albers version has now been recomputed using a corrected version of the program..
